Robert was around 12 years old when his father was given a first computer at his work at Philips. His father took this new computer home for market research. It was a Commodore and Robert has been addicted to computers ever since.
From playing games, programming, hacking and socializing he went on to study computer engineering at the TU-Delft. Here Robert became a technology addict, with a very strong interest in theoretical computer science and engineering methodology.
He started his career as a programmer at the age of 23, but soon discovered that the methodology side, the project teams and social aspects of development were more interesting.
For this reason he became project manager of projects that were generally increasing in size, to program manager to business strategy consultant – always in a technological context.
